Isn't One to One Coaching Better than a Group Programme for Rent to Rent? #R2Rshortandsweet #20
Would one-to-one coaching suit me better than group coaching?
If you’re trying to decide which style coaching suits your situation best, then find out how to decide here…
I'm delighted to be back with you for another one of our short and sweet video and blog series - a lot of action and a little bit of time!
Today I’m looking at a question from Hilda which really got me thinking…
“I want one-to-one coaching because you get more”
I realised that not everybody knows when one-to-one coaching is good and when group programmes are good. So, if you’re unsure if you should have one-to-one coaching or go onto a group coaching – then read on…
When is one to one coaching good?
One-to-one coaching is amazing if you want to dive into your individual personal situation. So an example of that might be that you're thinking of starting up in property investment.
You're right at the beginning and you're not sure which strategy to go for and you want to work with somebody who is going to look at your goals, how much time and money you've got to invest, and which strategies suit your personality best.
So that's a very personal individual thing.
Do you already know what you want to do?
Sometimes I meet people who have already decided they want to start in rent to rent to create a great cashflow and eventually escape their 9-5 job and work in property full time.
Often people want to use this as a first step towards buying their own property investments like we did.
Once you’ve decided where to start, it can be a bit overwhelming because you're not sure which information is correct, you want to do it legally and ethically and make it a win-win.
You want to make money, but also offer a great service for landlords and tenants. So, if that is your situation, then a group programme is amazing.
Why use a group programme?
There are many reasons why a group programme is so beneficial, here are a few:
Step by step systems
With many of the one-to-one coaches, they don't have a system. They can talk to you for an hour and they can tell you about what they did and show you how to do it. One of our students originally spoke to a one-to-one coach and they had eight sessions over a couple of months, and it cost over £2,000.
Within those sessions they received a few documents but didn’t get the full system. They don’t give you the full step by step system and the programme of how you can get it done. Within our group programme, you get all that information and every single document that you need as part of the process, but also the framework.Support
With our group programme you still get the eight hours. We have weekly live calls online with you and a small group. And then we also have daily contact within our private Facebook group where you get support and you can book one-to-one coaching calls.
It gives you the opportunity to get to know the vibrancy, the excitement, the inspiration and the motivation that comes from working with a group of amazing people. We do become friends and get to know each other well and we also organize in-person events as well - you get to be part of that thriving community.Informative
With one-to-one you’re really limited on the time and the questions that you know to ask or that your coach is teaching you. Whereas on the group programme, you learn loads from the questions that other people are asking, the mistakes that other people have made and the successes that other people have had.
That is a huge part of the learning within a group programme and our programmes are all about implementation and action. It's not one where they throw the information at you and you're buried under it for a couple of days and then there's no support afterwards. It is definitely all about implementation.
If that all appeals to you and you're all about implementation, building a community for success, surrounding yourself with people who've achieved the results that you want to achieve, then consider a group programme.
Another important factor is getting people over those hurdles, those fears that come in when you're just starting something new and pushing you out of your comfort zone and also celebrating your successes when you take the actions.
And I think that is why our group programme has been so successful.
