So let’s get into it
Why would a letting agent want to work with me?
Isn’t my rent to rent business a competitor?
This one really flummoxes people because well…
‘aren’t we competing with letting agents?’
Letting agents, like everyone, will help you get what you want when you help them get what they want.
Agents want to have their fees paid, rent paid and properties looked after with minimal risk and no hassle.
All of which you offer.
And the great thing about working with agents is that they have properties coming to them all the time and so can you!
Rather than you going out and looking for deals, they’ll come to you!
So many of our Rent 2 Rent Kickstarter Stars get their first deals from agents, so we need to blow this myth out of the water!
Yes some agents won’t want to work with you because they see there’s a risk you might go directly to the landlord and cut them out, but some will.
And when you find one that does, that could be a steady stream of properties for you.
Remember when Brenda Okandju joined us on the podcast,
her first property was from a letting agent who then started to call her offering further properties so it really does work.
