When signing up to PRS for rent to rent should we sign up as a property professional or an agent?
This weeks Ask The Angels question is about the PRS which is the Property Redress Scheme - it's a government’s consumer redress scheme for property.
So, here is Adam's question...
“ Love the podcast by the way, keep it up it’s super helpful!
We’re setting up our ltd company for R2R and I’m now just going through the legal and compliance section.
I’m signing up to PRS but wondered if you could advise if we are to sign up as a property professional or an agent?"
Maybe this is you too.
You understand the concept of rent to rent.
You’re setting up your business by asking questions in Facebook groups, googling, watching YouTube and listening to podcasts.
Yet at each step along the way, you have questions.
You know PRS membership is needed, but which one?
The options offered are Agents or Property Professionals.
The option for Agents is the one for rent to rent businesses.
Whatever new business you’re starting there is so much to know and so many shortcuts, make sure you’re starting from clarity instead of confusion.
