Today we’ve had a question from Trey about how to find HMOs in Article 4 areas.
Here’s Trey’s question…
“Big fan of the podcast and I’ve been listening more and more.
A lot of the main cities and areas are now article 4 areas.
Most, if not all, of the cities I’ve looked at have article 4 in place.
I’m struggling to find HMOs that were HMOs before article 4.
And I was wondering how do you find those goldmine HMOs that were HMOs before the article 4 came in?”
This is such a great question.
And not knowing how to find a property can stop people getting started.
There are also so many people who use article 4 as an excuse not to get started.
They think if you can’t create new HMOs easily then you can’t do rent to rent.
