R2R is cramming lots of people into tiny houses and charging very high rents!
In today’s episode we’re talking about overcrowding.
The view that rent to rent is unethical and bad for tenants.
If you’ve heard this criticism of rent to rent and wondered whether it’s true, this episode is for you.

So let’s get into it...
There is a lot of negativity out there.
I’ve seen posts on social media saying that rent to rent is about overcrowding and poor standards.
Our approach is to create beautiful affordable homes people love to live in.
Working ethically to add value for both tenants and landlords is the foundation of everything we do.
Recently a local letting agent referred us to a drama school.
The drama school has young students joining from all over the world, generally away from home for the first time.
And they’re mostly young women.
The letting agent knew the drama school wanted to be sure their students would be well cared for, so they thought of us.
We put care into selecting new housemates who are a good fit with existing and go way beyond minimum standards in terms of the homes and the service we provide.
This is shown in over 70 five star google reviews from housemates and landlords.
In the Rent 2 Rent Success System we teach in Kickstarter we show you how to provide a great service in little time and have a business you’re proud of.
It’s a step by step process to have an amazing business without it taking over your life and becoming another job.
Yes there are rogue landlords, as there are rogue businesses in every industry.
Sensationalist TV programming can create the feeling that these landlords are the majority rather than a tiny minority.
It does irk me that so often the rogue operators dominate the conversation when it comes to rent to rent.
It’s another reason I’m so passionate about sharing with you the ethical way to do rent to rent.
The more of us who can provide beautiful homes of the type we’d be happy to rent to our family, the quicker the charlatans will be ousted from the industry.
We’ll build a community of ethical providers who care.
