Why is Your Rent 2 Rent Kickstarter Programme so Cheap?! 😲😲😲#R2Rshortandsweet #29
Do you think our Kickstarter course is too cheap?
Find out what makes us different from other courses…
Hello and welcome to another video and blog from our Rent to Rent Short and Sweet series - lots of info in little time. So, let me dive straight into it.
We've had a great question from Munya…
"Well I am going to ask a question and I don't mean to offend you. I've looked at various property mentors and they charge ridiculous amounts of money like £12,000. And I bet that doesn't necessarily mean that each and every one of their mentees will succeed. So, I just wondered why your prices are lower because as humans, we sometimes think that the quality comes from paying more, which sometimes isn’t true. I'm struggling to decide what step to take next as I planned to get into property, but I guess your answer here will help me find a way forward. I've watched a few of your YouTube videos and those of other property investors. Thank you for your time and I will wait to hear from you when you get a moment."
This is a great question and other people might be thinking the same thing.
What is the difference between our course and other courses which can cost £12,000?
Onsite Course
Typically, what happens in a type of course that you're talking about is you will go to a physical place one day a month and people will teach you different strategies.
Usually it's not rent to rent exclusivity, it will be other options as well. As well as the cost of the course, you've all the travel costs of getting there too.
Front Person
These companies will normally be quite big, and they will have a front person who's doing all the free courses and who goes around the country advertising and is very visible online.
The front person leads the way and invites people to join the course, but afterwards that person isn’t as visible and can only be seen two, three times throughout the course.
Course Teacher
You can’t always expect the front person to be there all the time if they are running a big company, which means someone else teaches the course.
The quality of the course will very much depend on who is leading the course - sometimes it could be a person who is quite new or hasn’t ever done rent to rent before and therefore will not be able to answer questions on the subject.
When you sign up to the course, you don't always know who the teacher is going to be – and if they are specialist in rent to rent.
Course Information
You don't tend to get all the step-by-step information, it’s normally just an overview. These courses can be very motivating and inspiring, but not so clear in terms of the practical step by step - like useful websites, or a resource or template you need to use.
But with our course, we give you all the step by step instructions – for example, how to set up your business, splitting it into phases, what to buy at each stage and when to buy things.
Here are a few things we cover in our course – the list is endless
Setting up your business from scratch
The step-by-step, no confusion set up for success
What planning licensing and article 4 means
The secret scripts so that you can get HMO list from councils
Whether to set up as a limited company or a sole trader
Which insurances you need and don’t need
Magnetic marketing on getting your first deal – this is what we’re really known for!
Marketing letters: The 5 P formula, how to write your letters, scripts to agents, how to handle rejections
Doing the deal
Fuel for the future
Onboarding tenants – checklists and legal requirements
Size of Course
Another difference between us and face-to-face mentorships is that they are normally larger groups and our course groups are small. We meet every single week online via a zoom call. You can see us, we can see you and we can talk to each other.
And in those calls it's a smaller group, so you do get a chance to ask your questions too.
We can get you through any roadblocks that you have, and we encourage you to talk about your experiences and success stories - we find they are really inspiring but also really practical.
As well as weekly catch-ups, we've daily support within our Facebook group from Monday to Friday and we'll be in the Facebook group ourselves.
Some of the other courses also have Facebook groups, but the front person is not normally the one leading the group.
Our course is for three months and in that time, you get the dedicated support that I've mentioned, the daily and the weekly live calls for three months.
And you can continue after that if you want to - there’s no obligation and it’s entirely up to you.
We think our course is well priced and amazing value for money.
It’s a small group, which makes it more personal and we’re doing it successfully right now and can give you everything you need to succeed.
What we always want to do is massively overdeliver on our free content and for people who want to work for us in our paid programmes – that is our aim every time.
We like to think of our courses as exceptional value rather than being cheap. We don't charge £12,000, but having said that our course isn't a year, it’s a three-month intensive course.
And we find by people putting in focused effort for a quarter of the year it will really pay dividends for them and get great results. Everything we do is aligned to helping you get those amazing results in a small focused group.
As well as our fantastic Facebook group, we also run in-person events through the year so that you can attend and get to really know us.
It really is about who you resonate with, and who you think you would get on with and get the best value and actionable steps from.
Some people will prefer to pay £12,000 and some people will prefer our course which is cheaper - it's a personal choice on what you think is going to suit you best.
